Burton Albion Community Trust (BACT) are offering a variety of sessions for children and young people to learn new skills, play matches & make new friends. They are running a Power Wheelchair session, Under 12's and 16's sessions.
There will be lots of opportunities to represent Burton Albion Football Club & Burton Albion Community Trust in fixtures & tournament against other clubs.

We have released the term dates for the 2020-2021 academic year.

To support members of our school community during these unprecedented times, we have set up a foodbank for those impacted by the pandemic.
Our families who are eligible for free school meals, NHS frontline staff and others in greatest need, can access basic food and household supplies provided by our school.
From the 30th March, the foodbank will be open Monday to Friday from 10am till 3pm
Items available include cereals, tinned food, pasta and beverages, as well as cleaning, hygiene and sanitary products.
Any donations to help stock the foodbank and support vulnerable families during this time would be greatly appreciated. Donations can be delivered to the school reception area.

We are so proud of Anthony who has won the Shaw Education Trust Christmas Card Competition. He is the overall winner out of all of the Specialist provisions and has received printed copies of his design and vouchers. Well done Anthony!

The Towards Independence department have made some beautiful decorations for the Saxon Hill tree at Lichfield Cathedral’s Christmas Tree Festival. The festival is open from 30th November until 5th January. Please visit and vote for our tree.
On Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th December 2019 we will be celebrating our annual ‘Christmas Performance’ assembly.

We are holding coffee mornings in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Due to the operational changes at King Edwards High School we have had to change our end of day transport arrangements to ensure all our pupils at Saxon Hill leave school each day safely and on time.
A successful trial of the new arrangements were carried out on Friday the 19th of July with senior leaders from both Saxon Hill and King Edwards in attendance with the support from transport operators.
Required for September 2019, a dynamic and innovative classroom practitioner to teach children with wide ranging complex needs.
One of our teachers, Bronwen Moses, is going to complete the Sarn Sabrina 25 mile walk to raise £500 to bring the 'Farm on Wheels' to Saxon Hill Academy.
Staffordshire County Council have agreed to restore the full funding for sleepover club until April 2020.

The whole school came together on Wednesday 17th October to celebrate Harvest Festival.
AAC awareness week - 22 October - 26 October
Children and young people can access a set amount of FREE activities each month (usually 1 a month, with extra during the school holidays). This is known as the Aiming High Free Activity Offer.
