We have a full and very tasty catering offer, here at Saxon Hill Academy!
Our food options are designed to be inclusive, with allergies and specific requirements in mind.

We provide high-quality meals which are prepared each day by our on site team. We use fresh, local produce and provide a balanced, nutritious diet inline with government policy.
We regularly give parents the opportunity to sample our fare and feedback is excellent.  Ofsted stated: 'Catering across the school site is of a high standard and provides pupils with a range of healthy and nutritious meals'.

We are a nut free school!

Bringing Food from Home

Re-heating food from home
We have taken guidance from the Food Standards Agency in regard to re-heating food sent in from home. Due to a variety of health and safety reasons and keeping all our children safe, we are unable to re-heat foods. You are welcome to send your child’s lunch in an insulated food flask, such as a Thermos flask, these usually keep food warm for 8 hours or more.

Our Prices

Lunches can be purchased through the school office using ParentPay.  Lunches cost £2.10 for students up to Year 6 and £2.20 for Year 7 onwards.  If you think you may be eligible for Free School Meals we can provide you with the necessary application form. Please do not hesitate to contact us on 01543 414892.

Our Menu

We try to provide as much choice and variety as possible. Each day there are at least 3 choices of main meal and this rotates on a 3 week cycle. We have planned the menu carefully to ensure all children receive a balanced diet.
