On 22nd August 2026 a local Community Interest Company (CIC), Right2speak CIC held a fun day in support of non-verbal children in Tamworth and Lichfield. The response was very surprising, the local people were so supportive and even one of our students from Saxon Hill Academy and her family attended. They had a great time, including winning lots of prizes, buying tombola and raffle tickets and having faces painted.
Everyone had a great time and so many people were so generous, donating money and their time to support a local business supporting our school. The landlady of the pub where the fun day was held, The Wigginton even won a prize.
We are very grateful to those that supported this event, raising nearly £500 in 3 hours.
