Once again, The Sleepover Club held their annual graduation service, where the many young people who access our residential facility are awarded points throughout their time and graduate with bronze, gold and silver awards.
This is a very special time for our young people who are able to experience a graduation similar to that experienced in higher education. The Sleepover Club is an amazing resource where young people are offered experiences they may not be able to access in the wider community. The young people are able to build upon independence skills through the many different activities devised by the wonderful staff.

The Sleepover Club has been recognised as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for 17 years. All of us who are part of the school know how wonderful the Sleepover Club truly is. The staff are dedicated to the young people in their care and this isn't just a duty that they perform; they truly care about the young people who often feel part of a family rather than just a club. In fact many parents have commented that they and their children feel part of a family rather than just a school.
Saxon Hill Academy is a place where children and young people are at the centre of everything that happens, they inform planning according to their interests and aspirations. Every child is a leader. All members from site, ancillary, health, admin, residential and teaching staff care about every child and believe in their potential and create an atmosphere of positivity where all can achieve. It is an honour to be a part of this family. It is a privilege to be able to work with such inspiring and strong young people. Thank you to everyone who is part of this family for making work and life just that bit better.
