Hub 5 - Towards Independence

Pupils in Hub 5 have a strong focus on their independence and developing vocational skills. Hub 5 pupils are those in Year 14 or who require a more personalised, practical timetable. This year we are following two pathways -- Pre-Formal and Semi-Formal --to ensure every pupil has the best learning opportunities to achieve AIM and AQA qualifications. We participate in wide variety of work experience opportunities, such as Dobbies, Craft Barn, Foodbank, Beaudesert Farm, Community Café and running the pop-up shop in school. Pupils work on developing their communication and confidence skills when accessing the community, whether that be through travel training, visiting local supermarkets or going out for a coffee.  

Every day is different but always full of friendship and fun!
