Hazel Class - Investigators Department
Hazel Class are a lively, fun-filled, hard-working group! We are part of the Investigators Department and cover all areas of the National Curriculum. We have a topic for each half-term as well as focused areas of learning across our subjects. We have pupils in Hazel who are assessed on both the Rainbow and Jewels profiles. We have a real love for learning in Hazel class, we even have some visitors throughout the week: Jo comes to teach us Languages and Isobel comes to teach Forest School! We like to take responsibility for working towards our EHCP and Golden Thread targets during our Target Time as we arrive in class in the morning and throughout the day. We like to work hard during our physical lessons which sometimes include Rebound, Hydro and a half-term’s worth of swimming at Lichfield Leisure Centre if appropriate. We are encouraged to be kind to our friends and staff both in the classroom and around school as well as being as independent as possible and helping others out. We love to celebrate each other’s achievements and always look forward to learning!
