Hub 3 - Towards Independence
Welcome to Hub 3! We are working in the Towards Independence Department, undertaking accreditations in Maths, English, Science, Art & Design and Digital Media. We enjoy real-life, practical learning as this makes topics more accessible to us. We also focus on Preparing for Adulthood skills as well as undertaking a range of work experience sessions at Dobbies, Craft Barn, Food Bank, Beaudesert Park Farm and in our school café. We also undertake exciting enterprise topics where we hope to raise money for our end of year Prom.
As well as our accreditations, we follow a broad curriculum including PHSE, Food Technology, Skills for Living and Work and Preparation for Adulthood. We also access Rebound Therapy and Hydrotherapy sessions for pupils that benefit from this.
We celebrate all our successes and achievements and work hard to earn reward points. Hub 3 are a bubbly, happy, inquisitive and determined group who enjoy learning and trying new experiences together!
