Hub 1 – Towards Independence Department
Welcome to Hub 1! We are a class full of funny and talented pupils, with huge personalities, we are always striving to achieve our best. We are part of the Towards Independence department and range in age from 14-17. We follow a semi-formal curriculum, which encompasses a variety of subjects that we teach in many ways to meet all individual learning needs. We have a huge focus on independence and promote this by providing opportunities for work experience, on and off the school premises along with preparing for adulthood Wednesdays. Our final focus for the week is personal development Fridays, which consist of therapies, including rebound and hydro.
