World Book Day 2025, 6th March.
At school
Dress 'your way'. Pupils are invited to wear clothes that express how they enjoy reading, this could be; in their PJs, dressed as their favorite character, in their smartest suits or comfiest jumpers!
throughout that day activities will involve sharing books and stories in a way that our pupils enjoy the most. We will also be celebrating our favorite reads through art.
At home
(Information from the World Book Day website: Families - World Book Day)
This year we are asking you to Read Your Way celebrating the reading that your child chooses to do in their free time without judgment.
We’re inviting everyone to Read Your Way, to give children and young people the opportunity to discover reading on their own terms.
Read Your Way encourages everyone to let go of reading pressures and expectations, and lets children find fun in reading.
Children and parents tell us that reading can feel like work, so we’re here to unlock the fun!
